St Peter's Westbere

We shall start at All Saints’ Church, Church Lane, Westbere, CT2 0HH (just off the A28) at 2.30pm.  This has several notable historical features going back to the early 14th century (see the “Westbere Parish Church” website for fuller information), with a modest but attractive F.H. Browne two-manual organ of 1885.  By kind invitation of Stephen and Hilary Pinnock we shall then move to Kemp Hall, Westbere Lane, CT2 0HH, where a well-specified two-manual Copeman Hart instrument will be available for demonstration and playing.  Teas will be provided and there will be guided tours of the 1475 Tudor house.

It is recommended that members park on Church Lane or Westbere Lane, walking between the church and the house (about 500 yards).

The usual £8 charge will apply.  Please send your bookings to Kevin Grafton in the usual way to arrive not later than Saturday 9th MayWe shall do our best to meet any dietary requirements which are declared in advance.  Cancellations after the closing date will, we regret, be chargeable.
