English Piano Collection - Rochester

Louis Collins and Philip Hutton have created The English Piano, a collection and workshop in Rochester dedicated to research, as well as maintenance and restoration of Georgian pianofortes. Some of the instruments may even be hired for recitals and recordings, such as the lovely little Beck, made in 1767, one of the world’s earliest surviving pianos (seen in the photograph)! Find out more on their website (englishpiano.co) or Instagram (englishpianoco).

Philip and Louis also continue to look after pipe organs, and always welcome enquiries throughout the south-east on collinspipeorgans@outlook.com, or 07564 891709. They carry out all routine work such as tuning, action repairs, and voicing adjustments, and are also happy to attend emergencies such as cyphers.
