Tonbridge parish church requires an organist/choirmaster: one service and two practices a month.

Music co-ordinator Wendy Balcombe writes:

We at St Peter and St Paul Tonbridge are looking for a local organist to play once a month for our
6pm Holy Communion service. This is, currently, usually on the 4th Sunday of the month. The choir
practices for this are on the preceding Friday evening 7.30-9pm, and the Friday a fortnight before
that; we would like someone who is able to play (mainly piano) for these too. We have a keen and
friendly 4-part choir of about 15; we sing traditional hymns, and occasional anthems, and some
more modern songs too. Regretfully, the church would not be able to pay a substantial fee, but we would be happy to offer a moderate monthly payment (£100 for service and practices). There would be the possibility of playing professionally for weddings and funerals at our church too.
